BHU School Teacher TGT, PGT, PRT, Principal Exam Date 2026 - CBT Schedule PDF

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has rescheduled the Computer Based Test (CBT) for School Teacher TGT, PGT, PRT and Principal posts under Advertisement No. 24/2023-2024. The exam, earlier scheduled for 16 August 2026, will now be held on 13, 14 and 15 September 2026. This rescheduling was done after candidates reported overlapping exam schedules with other competitive exams.

How to Check the BHU Exam Date / CBT Schedule

1. Visit the official BHU website at bhu.ac.in.
2. Go to the Recruitment & Assessment Cell (RAC) section.
3. Find the notice for School Teaching Posts – Principal/PGT/TGT/PRT.
4. Click on the Exam Date / CBT Schedule notification link.
5. Check your exam date, shift, and reporting instructions carefully.
6. Download and save the notice for future reference.

How to Apply

1. Register on the BHU Recruitment & Assessment Cell portal.
2. Apply separately for each post you are interested in.
3. Upload a digital passport-size photo and signature as per specifications.
4. Fill all sections carefully no changes are allowed after final submission.
5. Pay the applicable application fee online (if applicable to your category).
6. Submit the form and take a printout.
7. Send the printed application with enclosures to: Office of the Registrar, Recruitment & Assessment Cell, Holkar House, BHU, Varanasi – 221005 (U.P.), by the hard-copy deadline.

Important Instructions

• The CBT for TGT and PGT posts has been rescheduled from 16 August 2026 to 13–15 September 2026 to avoid clashes with other exams.
• Admit cards have not yet been released this article will be updated once BHU issues them.
• Candidates should regularly check the official BHU RAC portal for shift-wise and post-wise exam city/date allocation.
• Carry a valid photo ID and the admit card (once released) to the exam center.
